This incredibly timely event will discuss best practices and challenges for vaccination programmes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The EU is facing the dual threat of having to deal with a COVID-19 and an influenza season simultaneously. In order to minimise this burden, flu vaccination must play a central role now, and in the long term.
The discussion during the EU Flu Day webinar will cover:
– Approaches to ensure uptake and access to flu vaccination despite the unique circumstances,
– Lessons learned from the Southern Hemisphere flu season, and how these can be applied in Europe,
– How to secure sustainable increase of flu vaccine coverage rates in the future.
